Position: Material Inspector
Location: Brunei Darussalam
Commence: Mar2014
Duration: 1year with extension option
Criteria:-

• HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 5years experience in the oil and gas industry
• 2years on material and equipment inspection in one or more discipline e.g. mechanical, civil, instrumentation and electrical
• Requires excellent communication analytical and IT skills
• Analytical with excellent problem solving skills, self-motivated, a good team player and be able to meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge and experience on inspection of oil and gas industry materials and equipment i.e. piping & fittings, pressure vessels, heat exchangers etc
• Knowledge on material testing and preservation techniques
• Experience on welding, painting and coating inspection
• Ability to perform dimensional checks
• Skilled in report writing and presentation
• Experience with data base software

• Comprehensive knowledge of corrosion and maintenance repair techniques of O&G related equipment
• Competent in analyzing inspection data, fitness for service and determining trenads in order to prescribe future inspection programs
