Position: Material Planner
Location: Sarawak Waters
Commence: Q1 2022
Duration: 1 year with extension option
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent technical experience;
- Diploma in Material Management or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience as material planner with experience in materials storage handling, planning, preservation, distribution and inventory management
- Experience in managing corrosion resistant alloys and sour service materials
- It is preferred if candidate has direct experience in working in the fabrication / construction of an offshore / onshore oil and gas facility
- Working knowledge of SHE requirements,with specific focus on materials and transportation
- Working knowledge of local legislative requirements, for importing / exporting for Malaysia and movement of goods between the different states.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process and supply chain management.
