Position: Drilling Application Specialist

Location: West and East Malaysia

Commence: Year 2022

Criteria:

• Perform hydraulics analysis for optimum hole cleaning with the amount of pressure limitation imposed by rig mud pumps, liner sizes, and diameter sizes. 
• Collaborate (input and output) with other service companies (mud, cement, directional drilling, etc).
• Drillable options will be identified within the constraint of rig, hole geometry, and BHA limitations (kick tolerance, maximum allowable annulus surface pressure [MAASP], and limitations on pop-off valve).
• Planning for jet nozzle optimization.
• Involve in peer review for tubular design using software and manual calculation only.
• Execute buckling analysis for drillstring and completion strings
• Provide recommendations on string configuration and placement
• Run simulations for different drilling scenarios such as drilling with casing and floating casing and present result to the drilling team.
• Define limitations for succesful operations.

Criteria:-

• Must have minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geology, Petroleum or Science discipline
• Min 12years of oil and gas industry experience
• Min 6years of well planning experience
• Min 6years of experience in using Engineer's data Model (COMPASS, WELLPLAN, OpenWells, Casing Seat, Stresscheck, Wellcat) suites or equivalent that provide comprehensive set of engineering tools
• Competent to perform well design analysis, well planning and well operationsoptimization including but not limited to Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) analysis, torque and drag, hydraulics, kick tolerance, vibration, Equivalent circulating Density (ECD), swab surge, casing design, cementing and other analysis
• Attended Extended Reach Drilling (ERD), Stuck Pipe Prevention, Well Control and other Well Operation and Intervention courses
• Familiar with drilling and production operations
• Have excellent command of English language in both speaking and writing
