Construction Quality Engineer (OGP)

Position: Construction Quality Engineer (OGP)

Location: Sarawak Waters

Commence: Q1 2022

Duration: 1 year with extension option

• Relevant university degree (BSc/MSC) or equivalent, or recognised professional technical qualification
• Experience should be a minimum 10 years in upstream engineering construction with at least 5 years in onshore fabrication and construction quality engineer position
• Broad Project and Quality Management experience in the onshore Fabrication and Construction aspects of the Oil and Gas Industry, or other major Technical/Process Industries.
• Be conversant with Quality Management practices and procedures and be able to apply these to complex projects and be conversant with ISO 9000 and API Q1 and appropriate Fabrication and Construction industry standards
• Adept at dealing with Fabrication and Construction contractors possessing team building skills that enable effective working in a multi-cultural team environment. Can manage as required the relationship with key stakeholders to achieve projects' objectives 
• Thorough understanding of the key quality risks and the associated technical/commercial issues and experience in applying risk based approached in assurance and verification.
• Knowledge on use of reporting tools such as SQI, ACT, online tools for NCR & Observation reporting
• Certified technical auditor (E.g. IRCA)
• Possess strong leadership skills in managing a team of inspectors and quality engineers at the site.

Onshore Structural Engineer (Civil Engineer OGP 2)

Position: Onshore Structural Engineer (Civil Engineer OGP 2)

Location: Sarawak Waters

Commence: Q1 2022

Duration: 1 year with extension option

• B.Sc degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer (Ir) with the Board of Engineer, Malaysia.
• Experience: min 12 years design and construction experience in Onshore Process plant experience with focus on both steel and concrete structures.
• Well versed with International and National Standards (by-laws, Malaysian standards)
• Experience with steel and concrete design of Onshore structures (eg. but not limited to Control building, MCC, Substation, flare tower, storage tank farm, storage tanks, pipe racks, sleepers, pipe bridges, loading and unloading facilities, cooling tower, elevated rotating/reciprocating equipment structure, and export port)
• Design of blast proof/rated structures.
• Experience with seismic design in this region that meets Malaysia regulatory requirement
• Design and construction experiences in H2S environment are an advantage.
• Experience with steel structural design - especially steel to foundation interface (including seismic, including vibration), special connection design (for seismic), vortex induced vibration for slender structure; temperature fatigue of steel structure (like flare tower)
• Familiar with design and construction of storage tanks (fixed or floating roof)
• Experience with interfaces with Piping, Geotech, HSSE, and Process in the tank design.

Onshore Civil Engineer (Civil engineer OGP 1)

Position: Onshore Civil Engineer (Civil engineer OGP 1)

Location: Sarawak Waters

Commence: Q1 2022

Duration: 1 year with extension option

• B.Sc degree in Civil Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer (Ir) with the Board of Engineer, Malaysia.
• Experience: min 12 years design and construction experience in Onshore Process plant experience with focus on civil, drainage, site preparation and foundation.
• Well versed with International and National Standards (by-laws, Malaysian standards)
• Experience with concrete design of onshore foundation (tank foundation, footing, underground work, drain , road, paving, concrete structure design - including Control building & MCC)
• Experience with seismic design in this region that meets Malaysia regulatory requirement
• Experience with foundation design of reciprocating/vibrating equipment
• Experience with retaining structure design
• Experience with Pre-cast Concrete (High performance Fiber/Ultra High Performance). With demonstrated experience in pre-cast construction/detailing.
• Experience with river diversion
• Experience with sour plant design
• Experience with Site preparation (before construction) - cut and fill calculation, soil improvement.

HSSE Advisor (OGP)

Position: HSSE Advisor (OGP)

Location: Sarawak Waters

Commence: Q1 2022

Duration: 1 year with extension option

• Possess NIOSH/NEBOSH/HSSE certification as a minimum, with a diploma or degree relevant to O&G industry. Having Malaysia SHO license would be an advantage.
• 10+ years oil & gas experience in onshore gas plant / refinery / petrochemical plant during the Construction phase in construction site safety supervision / management. Having past experience in sour gas (H2S) facilities is essential for the commissioning & start-up phase of the project.
• Demonstrates strong experience in supporting Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities for onshore gas / plant / refinery / petrochemical projects or operating assets.
