 Position: Senior Drilling Optimisation Specialist

Location: Onshore East Malaysia

Commence: Q1 2022

Duration: 1year with 1year extension option

Criteria:-

• Must have minimum bachelor's degree in the Engineering, Geology, Petroleum or Science discipline
• Min 15years of O&G Industry experience and have extensive knowledge in drilling operations, Formation Evaluation while Drilling (FEWD) response, wellbore stability and performance
• Min 8years of practical well delivery optimization experience and in using Engineer's Data Model (COMPASS, WELLPLAN, OpenWells) suites or equivalent that provide comprehensive set of engineering tools for pre & post-well analysis, well planning, modelling and well operations optimization
• Attended Extended reach Drilling (ERD), Stuck Pipe Prevention, Well Control and other Well operations and Intervention courses
• An expert in RTO technilogies, and client business and operational processes within a system
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of system specific technical computing environments inlcuding database, network, operating systems, data management, archiectures and hardware
• Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all call management support and service level guidelines, so as to provide recommendations on improvement,. Provides coaching to customer/contractor staff analysts on improvement
• Provides coaching to customer/contractor staff analysts on processes
• Able to contribute to Best Practices in project delivery and set project objectives and priorities, as well as set milestones
• Has developed project management skills and is capable of leading project teams of up to 20 people
• Able to contribute to performance by challenging rigs on different approached to operations to improve performance
• Able to identify workflow enhancement opportunities, data visualization solutions and develop tools for these purposes in MS Power Platform or Phyton and work woth data science on more complex machine learning or AI solutions
• Have excellent command of English language in both speaking and writing

Duration: Yearly basis

• Degree or Diploma in related technical or engineering discipline
• Valid certificate to perform initial and continuous types of inspection for all inspection grade (visual, close and detailed) for Ex equipment in hazardous area according to IEC 60079-17 compliance to Certificate of Personnel Competence (CoPC) by IECEx minimum Unit 007 and 008 
• A minimum five (5) years of relevant working experience in oil and gas related in execution of similar type of inspection or maintenance or repair of electrical and Explosion proof type equipment
