Wellsite Geologist

Position: Wellsite Geologist

Location: Malaysia and Thailand

Qualification

• Possess first degree (Bsc) or higher degree in Geology or Geological Science; 
• Experience work in offshore; 
• Experience in high pressure and high temperature and sour wells with high CO2 and H2S and in a siliciclastic environment for more than 5 years, experience in well to well correlation, coring operation and core picking, supervise Logging
• formation testing operation, experienced work in Gulf of Thailand region, North Malay Basin, experience in supervise and QC on data acquisition both on Logging While Drilling (LWD) and Wireline Logging
• (WL) and updated to data acquisition technology.
• The candidates must physically fit, possess a valid of HUET and BOSIET certificate, and no limitation to travel into Thailand and Malaysia
• The position to be stationed onsite. As focal point or subsurface representative at rig while drilling in progress. The candidates will direct communication with Operations Geologist in town on any G&G matters, especially on G&G data acquisition and execution and will be responsible for 24 hours operation. 
• These two WSGs will be working as a 21 to 28 days rotational basis (back to back)
• Conduct HSE audit for contractor which awarded under subsurface division to support drilling campaign onsite.
• Act as client's representative to supervise and QC the data from contractors under Subsurface contract
• Actively involved in the daily meeting among all parties on rig.
