Senior Marine Captain

Position: Senior Marine Captain
Location: KualaLumpur, Malaysia
Commence: Mar2011
Duration: 1year
Criteria:

• Degree of Master Mariner or equivalent Class 1 Master Mariner (Unlimited) license
• 5years experience as Marine Operations Supervisor in the Upstream O&G industry
• Another 15years experience in at least 3 of the following : Rig & Barge marine Operations Lead / Vessels Supply Operations Lead /Marine HSE Lead/Marine Projects & Contracts
• Competent in tanker pilotage, barge & rig move pilotage and has attended formal Advance Ship Handling Simulator training, Elevated Jack Up Rig Move training and DP (Dynamic position) Induction course. Previous working experiences in deepwater mooring and anchor execution will be helpful.
• Proven previous deepwater exposures in wells in project engineering work scope.
• Have sound & in depth knowledge of offshore marine operations , statutory regulations, standards and vessel specifications and marine operations technical criteria.
• Candidate is expected to provide sound marine advice on DP Systems to project teams.
• Good knowledge in other logistical areas pertaining aviation, land transport, supply base and indirect tax
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently under considerable pressure dictated by datelines and project milestone.
