Duration: 1year with extension option
Criteria:
- Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry in the required specific discipline role.
- AWS certified welding engineer/ IIW/ EWF diploma or equivalent from recognized Welding Institute
- Familiar with non-destructive and destructive test methods
- Excellent supervisory skills for mentoring and counseling welders.
- Familiar with non-destructive and destructive test methods.
- Excellent supervisory skills for mentoring and counseling welders.
- Familiar with international offshore design (ASME/ANSI/API/AWS) codes/standards and
- Excellent knowledge of welding design, specification, control and failure mechanism of different materials (carbon steels, CuNi, exotics etc)
- Root cause failure analysis skill
- Excellent communication and report writing skills. Full command of oral and written English.
