Criteria

• BSc. / MSc. / MEng. or equivalent in an engineering
• Preferably a Registered Professional, Chartered Engineer or member of Professional Engineering Society
• Minimum 15 years of work experience of which at least 10 years must be in the areas of completions and managing CMS databases
• At least 10 years of experiences in the upstream Offshore Oil & Gas industry
• Previously worked on integrated projects with CAPEX in excess of $300MM.
• Preference for previous experience working for an Oil and Gas Operator in a client oversight team during EPCIC stages of an offshore project
• Preference for previous experience working on projects which include brownfield and greenfield scope of work

Completions Supervisor

Position: Completion Supervisor
Location: Onshore Office and Offshore on drilling rig in Vietnam Waters.
Duration: Four (4) months dependent on rig operations, from around April – May 2019
Criteria:

• The Completion Supervisor (CS) will oversee all aspects of the Oil Operator’s onshore preparation and offshore installation of the HSD & HST Well completions.

Onshore preparation

• The Completions Supervisor will be based in HCMC and Vung Tau City. The CS will liaise with the Completions Engineer and the Completions Contractor to ensure that completion equipment is properly prepared for installation as per Client's instructions.

Work will include: -

• Preparation of the completion program.
• Review certification packages.
• Witness function testing of completion components and running tools.
• Witness make up of Completion Assemblies to ensure all completion assemblies are properly made up.
• Witness pressure testing of Assemblies.
• Make daily progress reports to Senior Completion Engineer.
• Sign off timesheets, test certificates are required.
• Supervise packaging for mobilization.
• Review well files and ensure sufficient documents.
• Prepare final well completion report.

Offshore Operations

• The Completion Supervisor will be based offshore during the completion phase. He/she will report directly to the Senior Drilling Supervisor (SDS) and liaise with the Completion Contractor personnel.

Work will include: -

• Assist SDS with implementation of the completion program
• Actively support and implement Client's safety expectations.
• Prepare run-list and tally with contractor.
• Supervise completion running as per the program and confirm run-list.
• Assist SDS with SIMOPS planning and supervise SIMOPS operations.
• Ensure daily reports are prepared in good time for SDS Daily drilling report.
• Assist contractor to prepare Final Completion Report and As-run schematics.
• Make comments and recommendations for "Lessons Learned" document.

Qualifications and Work Experience Requirements and Man-specifications:

• The Completion Supervisor will have an extensive background in offshore completion operations and be able to work under his/her own initiative.
• A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role in completions and or wireline operations is essential as is the ability to communicate fluently in English.
• The CS will be expected to promote the oil operator’s Safety Policies and practices to the crews working under his supervision and to ensure that safe working practices are adopted at all times
• The selected candidate will have the appropriate certificates to travel and work offshore in Vietnam. (HUET, BOSIET, Medical etc.)
• Ability to lead and motivate staff.
• Highly delivery focused.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to openly communicate with team members, rig contractor and service company personnel.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Preference will be given to Consultant with work experience in Vietnam
