Role and Responsibilities

  • Provides support to the External Relations Department in resource mobilization and stakeholders’ management.
  • Provides support for day-to-day administration needs i.e. correspondences, filing, information update, travel and/ or logistics arrangements.
  • Creation of necessary documents for execution of programs and activities for External Relations Department such as purchase requests or related supporting documents.
  • Support in external engagement functions such as exhibition, events and visits management by external stakeholders, business partners or government officials.
  • Compilations and reporting (weekly/ monthly) activities for dissemination to target audience i.e. Executive Committee, internal or external via identified platforms.

Office Assistant

Position: Office Assistant

  • To assist on official travel management
  • Managing all correspondence and registry as well as sorting administration emails.
  • Assist in planning and arranging events, including planning refreshments

Assistant Driller

Position: Assistant Driller 

Location: Malaysia

Commence: October 2021

Duration: 1 year with extension option

  • Must have a current certificate of proficiency by an accredited well control school. (IWCF Level 3). 
  • Must have one-year experience as a Derrick man 
  • Ensuring the correct alignment of well control manifolds/equipment at the start of each tour and after testing of well control equipment. 
  • Ensure all drilling tools and associated equipment is in proper working order prior to use. 
  • Assist in the evaluation the performance of the drill crew. 
  • Undertakes maintenance and inspection of drilling equipment and derricks in conjunction with the Derrick man. 
  • Performs the set up and serves as the primary operator of drilling equipment within the guidelines of company policy and scheduled work program as determined by the customer. 
  • Assists in the training of the drill crew on the optimum safe performance of their job duties. 
  • Assists third party company personnel with preparation of drilling equipment used by drill crew. 
  • Manually logs all drilling operations to include what and when work is performed, the equipment used to drill the well, and the detailed scheduled maintenance record of drill line ton miles. 
  • Must have knowledge of all well control guidelines. 
  • Undertakes emergency duties as per the emergency Station Bill. 
  • Undertakes audits and inspection as per IDSB audit and inspection procedures. 
  • Participate fully in all safety initiatives and safety programs. 
  • Participates in all safety meetings, including weekly, pre-tour and pre-job/toolbox meetings.
