Position: Drilling Cost Controller / Cost Engineering Expert

Location: West and East Malaysia

Commence: Year 2023

Criteria:

• Assist in the AFE creation
• Cost Control Strategy creation
• Contract structure review and Material Group review according to AFE
• Coordinate WBS structure & Budget assignment
• PO creation support & QA/QC (WBS, Purchasing Group, structure, etc)
• Set up all the tasks to start the certification for the new well
• Load in daily certification previous cost prior to D&C start as Cost Allocation
• Support engineers in daily certification tasks
• QA/QC of Daily Certification costs in MAXIMO / SAP
• Make sure that all costs reach OpenWells so the DDR cost will be correct
• Estimate and load the cost allocations for any service not certified (Personnel, Intercompany charges, IT, etc)
• WBS budget availability review & reassignment if necessary
• Material consumption review (check with Inventory team & engineers)
• Monthly accruals and Audit focal.
• Follow up & support all the engineers for closing period
• Create & follow up SES & Attachment report
• PO closure & Contract budget availability report
• Coordinate with the Drilling Engineer the final cost & EOWR

Drilling Equipment - Qualification Testing and Studies

Position: Drilling Equipment - Qualification Testing and Studies

Location: West and East Malaysia

Criteria:

• Lead the QA/QC for drilling, completion and workover equipment prior equipment mobilize to drilling/workover rig is to ensure minimal faulty to the drilling equipment and downtime to the rig.
• Learn to increase the productivity and meet company drilling/workover schedule.
• To inspect the wellhead post-manufacture and tubulars post mill to ensure the equipment are as per company requirement and as per relevant industry standard.
• To generate a list of vendors/contacts/equipment by hole section/intervention requirement and put in a spreadsheet format to use as working document for tool verification and witnessing controls. The list should be verified by Engineer prior to start work.
• To document quality gaps and vendor non-conformances related to the inspection and qualification of the equipment with the nature of the non-conformance together with the recommended corrective action.
• To witness if require the disassembly of any returned tools to qualify any repairs or replacement parts needed prior to being accepted.

• Material engineering, composite materials, sustainable materials
• Computation fluid dynamics, advanced numerical techniques, advanced optimization technique for analysis, prediction, interpretation, characterization and optimization of drilling and completion process;
• HSE and sustainability related drilling, completion, maintenance, and operation;

Drilling Engineering Contracts

Position: Drilling Engineering Contracts

Location: West and East Malaysia

Commence: Year 2023

Criteria:

• Pre & post-award tendering activities 
• Pre-award tendering activities; preparation and finalization of ITB Document, preparation of tender papers and approval, issuing tender, participate in tender evaluation and preparing the final contract for execution post award
• Ensure the execution of the procurement activities are in compliance with company internal and host country requirements.
• Planning, strategizing and executing tender for business requirements. The role requires an understanding of business objectives and the ability to engage internal customers, functional specialists and other stakeholders whose support is critical for successful sourcing processes.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions in conjunction with legal 
• counsels, employing best practice in contracting methods to manage risk and maximize value.
• Support supplier relationship management activities, including ongoing post contract management and control, collation of performance data, and input
• Support transactional contract requirements including PO creation and contract management in MAXIMO / SAP and company management systems as applicable.
• Work with host country Group Procurement teams to ensure compliance with contract governance and alignment of contracting strategies between host country and company.
