Criteria:-
- Provide cost control services in support of project activities, including cost estimating, data base management, progress and analysis, VOWD analysis, trend analysis, forecasting, variance analysis and budgeting.
- verification of costs that are charged in terms of contractual validity and conformance with contractual compensation provisions.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 5years cost engineering experience with both fixed and variable cost analysis procedures in O&G
- 5years experience with routine cost estimating methods
- experience and thorough knowledge in Cost control data bases such as MS-ACCESS and MS Excel Pivot Table, Using Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Standard Codes of Account (SCOA)
- Reconciling VOWD estimates with commitments and actual costs plus accruals
- Performing variance analysis and distinguishing between scope of work, currency, escalation and timing differences
- experience in reviewing contracts and extracting of relevant cost information for contract analysis is required
