- Resident status
- Relevant Engineering Degree
- 8-10 years all round Drilling Engineering experience as a Wellsite Drilling Engineer and office based professional Engineering experience.
- Strong drilling engineering technical knowledge in casing design, drilling and completions fluids, cementing, well logging and drill string design, etc.
- knowledge of Well Control Operations.
- Experience with Landmark Drilling Software package.
- Knowledge of Kick Tolerance software.
- Familiar with all aspects of onshore operations.
- Experience with desert operations desired.
- Personal skills include ability to interact with other disciplines, motivate people, being a good team player and naturally good communication skills.
- Have good data management skills and demonstrated computer software literacy.
