Procurement Coordinator

Position: Procurement Coordinator 
Location: Brunei
Duration: 1 year
Optional: extension or permanent
  • HND or BSc in Engineering and/or Business Management
  • 10 years experience in the O&G industry including a number of years in a buying, PMC and / or project support role or engineering environment.  
  • Proven track record of delivery in a PMC role.
  • Relevant work experience that demonstrates ability to manage Project Material Procurement section independently 
  • sound knowledge of systems and related procedures. 
  • Very Good co-ordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix-type organisational environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure 
  • Knowledge of materials specification
  • Knowledge on materials handling
  • Understands, participates in and influences the business planning process to a level where can provide input on procurement issues (strategic and tactical) ensuring procurement is addressed and prioritised appropriately. 
  • Awareness of Inventory Management
  • Awareness of Logistic Services
  • Demonstrate an appropriate understanding of interface with logistics and achieve optimum utilisation of logistic resources (import, customs, transportation, etc)
